I’m Tim Apps, born and raised at Yallourn in the Latrobe Valley, Victoria, Australia. Grew up within hearing and smelling range of a coal fired power station. Fanatically interested in biology from an early age. Greatest break in life was going to Monash University to study science. Awarded a PhD at 58 years old. Boring stuff: Hobbies; walking the dog, playing with websites, listening to Led Zeppelin (yeah, yeah I know its not cool to be trapped in the 70’s!), sometimes working in the lab. Now applying my ideas to dairy farming in South Gippsland and to farm education. Sadly no longer walking the dog. However happily now walking another dog!
